Intech Designs India Private Limited is a company that was established in the year 2000, by a group of engineers, who saw the need to provide competitive & time bound deliverables in the metal building industry. Intech for the last 24 years and counting, provides Detailing and Drafting services primarily for Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings which includes Primary framing (Built-up & hot-rolled members), Secondary framing (cold-formed, hot-rolled or light gauge members) and exterior cladding or sheeting. The drafting package includes Approval drawings, Permit drawings, Construction drawings, Shop Drawings and Bill of Materials in compliance with customer's established detailing Standards and Procedures.

Metal Building Design under the supervision of Practicing Licensed Engineers is also provided. In addition to animation & 3D services.

Typical projects are Warehouses, Aeroplane Hangars, Churches, Automobiles or any other Showrooms, Schools, Private residences, Offices, Bio-processing plants etc that use Pre-Engineered steel in their construction. Also, services related to Hybrid Metal buildings using tilt up walls, foam concrete, hot rolled sections and other allied material, and are also provided.
We offer drafting services primarily for pre-engineered metal buildings. The drafting package includes Approval/Permit drawings, Construction drawings, Shop drawings and Bill of materials in compliance with customer established standards and procedures.
Yes we can handle large-scale projects. The projects have a complexity range of 5 to 10 with 10 being the most complex projects. We have a well trained and effi cient team capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines on time and all the time with best work quality.
Yes. Through Licensed Practicing Engineers, we offer design solutions for metal buildings. We can also design inputs from the customer and detail and draft accordingly.

We initially request for a couple of completed assignments along with Standards and Procedures that are being currently followed, from the customer. While also requesting pertinent information related to the stock of raw material used. After careful study of the completed assignments, standards, practices, nomenclatures used, orientation of the various legends in the deliverables, stock material used, we request to do a test assignment on a no cost no obligation basis.

Taking into consideration the above, we commence a relationship with the customer, after accessing his requirements as to the number of assignments required to be processed on a monthly basis. Based on which a dedicated team with a team leader or leaders are allocated to process assignments. With a goal that the shop floor is our immediate customer, followed by the customer themselves. We get all project information on emails or on a client designated secured servers. The Team Leader carefully reviews the project information and timelines and allots work accordingly to the team members. We have different teams working on different projects for our various clients. The teams are well versed with the standards specific for a particular client. The drafting work is done on a CAD software platform. During the drafting process we request relevant missing information from the customer through emails or any other client specific forums/Questionnaires. We prepare the questions carefully with proper supporting documents or sketches making it easier for the clients to resolve problems quickly. The drafting process for all projects goes through three stages of Detailing, Checking and Verification to ensure the best quality output, with in the stipulated time committed. Once the project is complete it goes back to the client on their server, for their review and implementation.

We collaborate through emails and are open to any other channels of communication that the client may have in mind.
For CAD detailing we use various CAD related software but we can adapt to any other client specific software or platform.
We detail and check projects to client specific standards. The Team members are trained to meet the client specific standards. To achieve this we use client specific Detailing manuals, Guidelines, checklists etc, as provided by the client. Also coming up with a repertoire of specific libraries and client related information that would we developed as the relationship matures.
  • The Team Leaders do a careful review of the project documents and communicate effectively with the team members about the finer and critical points of the project.
  • The detailers and checkers use client specific detailing manuals, guidelines and checklists to detail & check the projects. Any issues that they find are communicated to the client for resolution.
  • We maintain error reports and corrective actions reports for the team to go over so that similar errors are not repeated.
  • The team members are trained periodically to further enhance their skills.
    • We have a very experienced and well-trained staff who exercise due diligence during the entire process of detailing, checking and verification. In addition, the average employment tenure of our employees are over 15 years, which also contributes towards efficiency & precision.
    We have a team of Engineers, who hold Diploma and/or Degrees.
    Communication is primarily through emails. We are also open to other channels of communication that may be preferred by the client.
    Yes, we provide post project support, revisions, clarifications etc.

    We charge by the hour, the hours are provided before commencement of any particular project for the client to approve with a margin of 10% +/-. We do offer project-based pricing.
    Once a relationship is developed, we generate invoices on a month-to-month basis. Initially we could invoice on per job basis.
    Over the last 25 years, we have developed a sophisticated model to determine both the complexity & number of hours an assignment would typically take. Based on which along with the initial information provided, assignments are assessed and number of hours communicated accordingly.
